Eco club of NDIM organized a sapling plantation on 26th Oct. 2016 on a grand scale. The location chosen for this purpose was a park near the institute. Mr. Prakash Jarwal , MLA Deoli was invited as guest of honor for the event. Hon'ble Chairperson, Ms. Bindu Kumar, accompanied Mr. Prakash Jarwal and planted around 45 saplings. Nearly 120 students participated for this endeavor and helped in successful accomplishment of the plantation venture. In this full day exercise students were amazed to know every small and significant step of plantation and its impact on environment positively. This entire event served the dual purpose of education and entertainment for the students besides contributing to the welfare of nature.
