NDIM organized a debate competition on the topic "Privatisation of Higher Education" on 18th October, 2016 in the college premises. The students from different semesters participated in the competition and displayed a lot of confidence while putting forward some strong and valid points to defend and support the notion.

A total of 12 students across different semesters participated in the competition emphasizing relevant facts and figures related to role of formal management education in today's time. The event was judged by a panel of 3 experts including Dr M.M. Maheshwari, Principal NDIM; Dr. Niraj Saxena and Mr. Rachit Khanna, AVP Axis Bank. The winners of the event were Drishti Bhatia of 1st year, Megha Kumar of the 2nd Year and Namrata Samal of the 3rd Year who shall be given awards at the forthcoming cultural fest, Manthan
